Mary is inspired by western art and landscapes and works in acrylics and colored pencils.  " I believe it is my God given talent. I am inspired by western art because of the action and movement, but also because of the relaxation of the horses and people." ​

Mary believes that art is very personal, no two people view it the same. So the artist should portray what speaks to them.
