Katy began making wire jewelry in 2016 and began pursuing it as a business in 2019. Working with copper, silver and brass: gemstones , silversmithing, and electroforming. She is inspired by nature, both organic and inorganic , and its ebbs, flows, reactions and balance.
"I have always desired to work with my hands, I believe it is one of the best ways to leave your impression on the world. I love how such miniscule structures that crystals have on a molecular can make such apparent and unique traits that they are easily observed by the naked eye. My goal is , to the best of my ability, preserve the story the stone has to tell while allowing another story to be written around it."
