Transparent watercolor.

I have been in the Graphic Design world for the last 10 years which has been a great outlet for my creativity. I have been doing fine art my whole life, and in the last 4 years I have dedicated my time to growing as a fine artist, particularly using watercolor as my main medium. I’ve also joined the Southwestern Watercolor Society of Dallas and the Society of watercolor Artists in Fort-worth, and have been participating in different shows and events.

I’m passionate about art because I can’t not be. I’m inspired by world around me, light illuminating shapes, the color of shadows in nature, depth and perspective in landscapes, and the drama in people’s gazes. I honestly found myself processing the world I’m in through art since I’ve been a child. Art is how I communicate beauty, emotion, and creation. It’s a never ending journey of curiosity and exploration, and I find that watercolor is the perfect medium to hold the elements of fun and surprise when I use it.

I always have a camera on me no matter where I am. photography functions as an extension of what I see and how I gather inspiration anywhere I go. I love traveling, and it has become an activity that intentionally makes me a better artist. I love seeing different cultures and landscapes. I think my art reflects who I am and how I respond to the world, in that It’s sometimes playful and at the same time It can be somber.
